Quick Summary
A client invested £400,000 in an LLP, expecting to receive £800,000 back via monthly payments. This is referred to as a 'cashback scheme', with no TDS deducted by the LLP. The discussion seeks to determine the correct tax head under which this income should be apportioned, with 'IFOS' (Income from Other Sources) being suggested.

IFOS....
