i want to buy a residential property and hold it for 3-5 years . Should i buy in my own or thorugh a pvt ltd co? i have got surplus funds in pvt ltd co. What are the advantages and disadvantages from taxation point of view if i buy a propery in Company's name? i already own a residential property.

If u got fund in p ltd company, the fund shound not be transferred to shareholder holding 10% or more of that company, otherwise it is treated as divided u/s 2(22)(e). so u have to buy the property in company name only.
