Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to report intraday income from shares in your Income Tax Return (ITR). While you can show intraday income under 'Income from Other Sources' in ITR 2 if your main income is salary, it's crucial to check your Annual Information Statement (AIS). If intraday transactions are reported in AIS, or if it's your primary income source, you may need to file ITR 3 or 4 instead.

Check AIS, if already reported, file ITR 3 or 4, and not ITR 2.

In AIS Intraday Transaction Not Reported Only Delivery transaction were Reported

IF MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME IS SALARY, YOU MAY FILE ITR 2; WITH THE INCOME UNDER IFOS.

Ok sir thank you
