I have received intimation U/S 143 (1) how ever not able to open the PDF file. The message comes as " There was an error opening this documents. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." This has happen in seven to eight case. I am able to open All other pdf file received from CPC. Any one has solution?
I THINK YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD A NEW ADOBE READER MAY BE IT WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND DOWNLOAD D PDF FILE AGAIN FROM YOUR MAIL

and downloading or reinstalling the adobe reader wont help
the attachment is defective
You can call to CPC Bangalore(Toll free: 18004252229) or mail to ask @ incometaxindia.gov.in for resend the same mail, because it is corrupted.
