Intimation for Recovery u/s 79 (Intimation through DRC-01D)

Dear Sir/Madam,

One of our Client, in Jun'23 there is a mismatch of GST amount Rs. 98 Lakhs in GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B ( Higher in GSTR-1), then he replied in DRC-01B that we rectify error in subsequent month.

Then he adjusted the Rs. 98 Lakhs GST in GSTR-3B in July'2023 month and paid GST with interest.

After that we received ASMT-10 notice, but he couldn't replied with time, after that we received the DRC-01D ( INTIMATION FOR RECOVERY U/S 79 in GST).

Demand Generated automatically, and AO saying that we don't have access to cancel the demand. He is saying that file the appeal,

When we are filing the appeal , we receiving the error saying that error while processing your request.

Grievance Redressal saying that invalid Order No.

What can we do for on this .

Can we file the Offline appeal.

Please Help.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a client's issue with a GST recovery notice (DRC-01D) stemming from a mismatch between GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Despite rectifying the error and paying the dues with interest, the client received an ASMT-10 notice and subsequently the DRC-01D, with the tax officer unable to cancel the demand. Attempts to file an online appeal are failing due to technical errors, and the Grievance Redressal is citing an invalid order number. The thread explores troubleshooting steps for online appeals, including checking order details, clearing cache, using different browsers, and contacting support, while also confirming the possibility of filing an offline appeal.

It seems like you're facing a technical issue while filing an appeal online. The error messages "Error while processing your request" and "Invalid Order No" can be frustrating! Here are some steps you can take: 1. *Check the order number*: Ensure you're entering the correct order number. Double-check for any typos or errors. 2. *Clear browser cache*: Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This often resolves technical issues. 3. *Use a different browser*: Attempt filing the appeal using a different web browser. 4. *Contact Grievance Redressal*: Reach out to the Grievance Redressal department via phone or email. They may be able to assist you in resolving the issue. 5. *Offline appeal*: Yes, you can file an offline appeal. Download the appeal form from the website (if available), fill it out, and submit it to the relevant authority via post or in-person. Additionally, you can try: - *Check for system maintenance*: Ensure the website isn't undergoing maintenance, which might be causing the error. - *Seek technical support*: Contact the website's technical support team for assistance. Remember to stay calm and persistent. You'll get through this!

DRC-01 should have been issued before finalizing the order and demand.
