Quick Summary
This discussion addresses receiving an intimation for a payment that has already been made, with the user possessing a challan as proof. It clarifies the concept of an 'open challan' as one that hasn't yet been utilised by the assessee. The advice suggests that errors in feeding challan data into the ITR form might be the cause of such discrepancies.

Open challan means the challan which has not been used by the assessee yet.
