The provisional allotment of a candidate is subjected to fulfilling the criteria for Participating Organisations and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted organisation.
In Provisional Allotment, IBPS shortlists candidates and allot anyone of the Participating Banks who have qualified in both Written Exam & Interview & have cleared the final cutoff. ... After this process, the role of IBPS finishes and further process is done by allotted bank.
Note: The provisional allotment does not mean an offer of employment i.e. if at any recruitment stage; it is found that the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility his candidature would be cancelled.
