BUT FROM ONE OR TWO DAYS I CUD SEE A YELLOW MARK ON THAT LOCK WHICH IS BESIDE THE http url.. WHILE USING THE BROWSER.

I JUST CLICKED ON THE SYMBOL IT DISPLAYED THAT THE YELLOW SYMBOL RESEMBLES THAT THE PAGE IS ENCRYPTED AND CONTAINS OTHER RESOURCES THAT MAY CAUSE TO VIEW AND MODFY THE PAGE BY AN ATTACKER ... AND THE CONNECTION IS ENCRYPTED BLA BLA BLA......

IAM USING KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE

once ask your internet connection office

Well actually Gmail utilises the secred transport. Being HTML, one developer to maintain efficiency, refers images on the site to other online servers. Example, Say I have a site, www.xyz.com, the images are on dropbox server to save my banwidtth. Now, the connection from my site xyz.com is secure but the image transfer from dropbox will be via a non-secured channel.

Ultimately, Gmail still is secured but some stuff, due to server issues they maintain multiple hosts. You might be able to fix this by clearing the browser's cache and reloading gmail, if lucky, you may get connected to the gmail server and the new cache will be stored as for a secured layer. But again, cache expires in 48 hours or something (am not sure of time), so again you have to be lucky each time you reload gmail.

As a thing of advise, forget that sign, Gmail still is secured and has got nothing to do with Kaspersky AV. For protection, just update the windows OS and your security softwares.

it's better to ask for ur network provider  to upgrade or whatever ...

In case it;s not detecting  ..

otherwise u could also increase the security by popup blocked ...

waise software to ache se chal rha h .. to tension kis baat ki h ...

u can do timely scan of your computer .....

make sure ur firewall is on .. because some network providers like Sify don't allow Firewall ... So check on that point as well

mayank and renu, thanku  for u . and my doubt actually got wat i wanna use internet banking also , so i m geting same symbol when i use the banking login site

while making the banking transaction ...such message is always shown on ... such page is encrypted. but still make sure your anti-virus is working good. it won't make any problem.

I have also done this and such message is also shown on my computer ...but it doesn't cause any problem.

I guess you did not read my post properly, as i said previously even, the connection is secure, you don't have to worry about that, its just that the files via other servers aren't securely transferred thus you get that yellow mark.

So be free, no worries, go ahead with your transactions....

Also I am pretty sure you are using Google Chrome here, try Internet Explorer or Firefox or any other.....you shouldn't get that error.

ya now i got ur point mayank thanku mayank and renu :) im relaxed now .

mayank ur right i m using google chrome but in internet explorer i could not find such mark to know whether its secured or not

can u plz tell me some time my pc is works slowly some times and i get the message "windows is not responding" for few min and after that all opened windows file get closed .And its config is 750gb with intel i3 processor,im using this specificlly for cci coaching videos.

Is there any best download softwares like internet dowload manager of licence free download

Well actually, I prefer firefox, my reasons.....it has an addon called downthemall, free download manager.

Apart from this, we have Free download Manager, flaashget, bitcomet.....and quite a few more free versions available.

For that unresponsive thing, first culprit always is the virus, though there is an antivirus but slow pcs are mainly virus prone.

Your configuration is i3, that is a high end processor for home users, and taking your OS as Windows 7, i think it shouldn't be acting slow. Your system definitely needs checkup if it slows down just upon mere video playback. In case it is so, try contacting the vendor.

Kaspery is one of the best av, but if the system has virus already then most av can't fix it, av is best for prevention not cure. Though norton and few more even heavier products are good for all.

For a quick check, Download And Run the below MWAV Utility....Also Enable Scan And Clean, Remove Malware, Remove Spyware and all other Options on its first screen.....it might run for few hours, the output will be infront of you.

DOWNLOAD

thanks a lot mayank

For better security and prevention of hijacking of gmail password you should use 2-step verification which involves ur mobile number while login to your gmail account. For details refer this link https://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=175197

We'll need system specifications.

Why don't you install and paste us hijackthislog for us , we will check for the checking the info. As already mentioned do some scans also but IN SAFE MODE

You need security suite and not just a simple antivirus . By suite I mean varities of lots of stuff

My suite

Malawayre bytes, Spybot S&D, Avira or any other, Super anti spyware, ccleaner (do delete infected reg if are missed by infection removal program) , combofix, ,CWS shredder, rougefix ,zone alrarms firewall and anti phishing ,rkill, ubuntu which can also do scan , avira rescue CD , GMER,

(I use some of them occassional like monthly or half yearly)

online scan : trend micro , panda security scan

browser: FF,  web of trust, lots of stuff which i don't use now

+ backups , I use macrium reflect and online backup (dropbox) for those info which I may require immideately

You may also wanna try sanboxie (not to mention these days we have infections which bypass this also, but when used in conjuction its great)

Well I like to be cautious when my system contains sensitive info

There IS NO ONE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE WHICH CAN DO ALL THE THINGS

Well we have loads of packages and security suits out there...sandbox environment is now a part of most of them. The best prevention of virus is self-understanding and knowledge....Ex. If a file says gidfu327.exe.....of'course you shouldn't run it unless you know what it is. I don't use any av....just one HIPS Malware Defender, RollBack RX....System Restore and Ubuntu One Backup.

Also, you don't need Ubuntu to scan viruses.....it isn't a virus scanner.....its a complete robust linux OS, I use Ubuntu for most of my work, my personal laptop has got it with win 7 in side for some other work. Usuing Ubuntu is the best option here, if you can use it, with time it becomes familiar and easy, and no hassle of security, virus, malware etc.

Remember, in Windows, the more you load running processes on to it, the more it will slow down, I have seen so many virus inffected PCs but running faster than a higher configuration PC loaded with Norton Security Suite 360. So chose wisely, don't overload and the best thing, suspect every file, specially executables like .exe .cmd .bat.....etc. If you aren't sure, goto sites like virustotal.com and check for virus in the file by uploading it, and again, it doesn't mean that if virus total says it isn't virus, you are free to run it, suspect it forever, and here comes the role of softwares like sandboxie.

Been using ubuntu and others  for some time. Bactrack is the real buty It will take THE few years for me it has so much in it

to be a  now its great :) most importantly legaly FREE

"The best prevention of virus is self-understanding and knowledge"

Absolutely pal. Thats the main thing

Rollback/System restore ain't that good option 'cause sometimes infection creeps into system volume and whenever you do a system restore there are chances that you will revive those infections and sometimes corrupted regs also. After removing infections all the restore points should be deleted and new one should be created. Same goes for the backup you have. It may contain infections and when you restore it then you also restore the infections

I prefer dropbox over ubuntuone (I didn't liked it much specially for windows) But its just a prefrence nothing against it

Most of the infection removal applications are executable. batch. command file. If registry is changed then normal user who does not know about how to restore it won't be able to run any programs and sometimes even net . Thats when you should try bootables you can use ubuntu to remove windows infections both manually and by using softies

We have many rescue cds/USBs also they also come in handy when some infection DISABLE THE INFECTION REMOVAL softi.

Windows infections and linux based OS genrally do not affect each other like windows infection may not harm your linux based OS and vice versa and same goes for scanning also using windows infection removal on linux based won't be a good option and vice versa

However if you use wine or bootcamp or other such things then windows infection on linux based may affect windows on virtualbox or w/e. But We in most linux distros we have programs to remove windows infection

"Remember, in Windows, the more you load running processes on to it, the more it will slow down,"

Absolutely, but not all the applications run in real time of above mentioned programes only 2 have real time functinality- avira and spybot S&D teatimer (this one consume mem. it may be disabled if you have other real time program) But these days real time is a must if you use net .More depends upon kind of work you do but still you must. Even legit site may give infection through flaash ads therefore we must have real time protection Wouldn't you agree?

The options I mentioed are all free. Combination is better than using only a single program from a company providng multiple features. Can't be best in all things. + You need to Pay for it

Thats a great site. Been using that too. But the good thing is that I can use it to analyze the file also . It gives lots of hidden info about normal files

Those who want to know how their computers defense systems working may try

AUDIT

Well I Never Mentioned Windows SYtem Resore, It is retard and stupid, All virus have a den in there. I have Rollback RX, it creates a linux ext based filesystem which windows virus doesn't detect, and thereon it couldn't affect it. System Snapshots are created often (depends upon your choice)......now you can play with your syetem. In case a virus comes in or you delete any important file.....just rollback, either partially or completely. This is similar to Virtual BOX's snapshot sytem, just difference is Rollback Rx works for real world.

And ultimately, even i have Malware bytes installed....gladly its free version doesn't offer real time security.

And those leak tests, I have spent my childhood playing with such sites and tests.......seriously, there is hell of a virus, a rare one that can break through any private commercial firewall. Comodo and Agnitum....I used them again, for 3-4 years, but then hey, I just prevente viruses at the cost of my own computer speed.

Now, Malware Defender, so advanced at things.....when they run it reports suspicious acts, just like a firewall but a firewall for everything from network to disk to syetem.

As In Ubuntu, in wine there is always an option to clear disk, and if you don wan't to....then ofcourse few like avast, clamav and bitdefender offer you on-demand scanner. But in no way, it affects Ubuntu, and in no way, it slows down no matter how many apps you load on to it, even if they are real time.

Ultimately, on windows.....avoid many real time processes, have one for all.....prefer schedulers, like having softwares to auto check for updates, turn it to schedule based, say every weekend at 12pm.....so this way you'll know what is happening, control everything by yourself and not leave it onto the windows OS. Linux, it is evergreen, shift onto it please. wink
