Internal auditor

I think there is no special provision in law regarding professional experience of internal auditor of company , a company can have there own internal audit panel.

A person who is a chartered accountant may be internal auditor but it is not necessary he has COP. - for indian companies.

A person who is qualified as account techniqution, knowledge of account and law may be internal auditor for foreign company or foreign company's branch in india.
