Interest payble showing in itr v

Dear Expert's yesterday I have submit a ITR of A.Y. 2012-13 one of my relatives which has income from sewing bussiness.His income is not exceed of basic examption limit.But I got ITR V it is showing 8780 interest & tax payble.I am not able to understand that this interest is wahy levy while income is not taxable.here i attaching ITR V & ITR form & password to open itr form & itr V is BVBPB4184m30071982.Plz tell me what should i do.

If a belated return is filed after the end of the assessement year relevant to the previous year, penalty of Rs. 5,000/- shall be payable by the assessee. I am not sure about the balance amount.

Can you please share with me the ITR in excel which you have filled (not xml file) on my id dev_ca08 @ yahoo.com, I will check the same and will revert you.

Dev Sir here I have submit ITR form & ITR V.If any procedure to download excel file from incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in plz tell me I will download & upload for u.

Hi Mangal,

While online filing ITR we are uploading xml file only and not excel, hence it can't be downloaded from the IT site.

May be u have shown Income from house property but did not disclose the details of H.P

Sayed Sahab maine yahan ITR form bhi upload kiya ek baar pehle usko comment karne se pehle dekh lete toh kuch behtar reply de sakte the aap

I think sir you filied the return as an non resident so the respective amount shown on your itr v....if you upload your excel file...so ..doubt will clear out...
