09 January 2009What will the amount of deduction for interest on loan taken for purchasing house and the interest is paid by two person. will the max amount of 150000 be applicable to both the individuals or jointly they can get deduction of 150000?

individually they can claim of Rs150000.

i think both can individually claim interest upto 150000/- if self occupied , but principal amount can be claimed only by either .
