Sir, Whether interest on provident fund for the financial year 2021-2022 is taxable income? or not?

As per notification 95/2021 dt 31/8/21 , and amendment in Finance Act 2021 , Interest on PF contribution above 2.5 Lacs in taxable . please refer notification .

It depends.If you have only PF Interest then there won't be much tax ..

If you have salary + PF interest or other income then you may have to pay the tax
