Interest on GST Late Fees
I have received notice for recovery of Interest for F.Y. 2017-2018 in that interest is also shown on Late fees paid in GSTR 3b . Please I want to now whether Interest on GST Late fees is applicable or not.

There is no interest on late fees
No ... no Interest is applicable on late fee.
Depending on the circumstances of thecase .
They are asking for interest on delayed payment of tax if output tax is paid out of cash ledger in any month of delayed filing of 3B.If not then no interest is payable
