Quick Summary
This discussion revolves around a pawn broker who has repledged assets with a bank, withdrawing approximately 40 lakhs. The core question is how to declare this interest income and manage the associated TDS. Specifically, the user asks if they can declare 40,00,000/- as gross receipts under Section 44AD, assuming an 8% profit. There's also a query regarding TDS deducted by the bank over two years but only reflected in the current year's 26AS, impacting refund claims.
