Input tax credit

If a businessman has an ITC unused in his electronic credit ledger of Rs.9000 at the end of financial year.
Can he claim refund of that amount or will it be carried forward to next year?

Note: This is not a case of exports or inverted duty structure.

Yes, Both ........You can Refund of unutilised input tax credit under section 54(3) of the CGST Act, 2017, and  iIt will be forword for next year too..

No refund. but it can be carried forward.
