Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether input tax credit (ITC) can be claimed for invoices that were received but not recorded in the company's books of accounts. The advice given is that if the invoices were simply omitted and the books can be corrected, then ITC can be claimed. However, if the invoices were never properly accounted for in the first place, ITC cannot be claimed.
