Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a common GST issue where input tax credit (ITC) appears in GSTR-2A but not in GSTR-2B, leading to notices from tax officers. The advice provided suggests that if you have a valid tax invoice, have paid for the goods/services, received the materials, and the supplier has paid GST and updated their GSTR-1, your ITC claim is likely valid. The suggested response is to mention the specific month in which the supplier uploaded the relevant details in their GSTR-1.

Reply to the notice ITC claimed based on 2A not in 2b is a software problem.

I have valid tax invoice paid the invoice and received the material and seller paid GST and updated GSTR  hence ITC claim is in order.

Just mention the month in which such ITC was uploaded by supplier in respons.
