Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether input tax credit (ITC) can be claimed on cement and materials purchased for the repair of a timber business's workplace. While some suggest it's a blocked credit under Section 17(5)(d) of the CGST Act, others argue that ITC is permissible if the expenditure is revenue in nature and not capitalised to immovable property.

yes...... why not............  ??

No , as per section 17(5) (d) of the CGST Act it's blocked credit so do not take input tax credit. take others opinion as well.
This does not come under blocked credit.
If it is capitalized to Immovable property or it is not revenue nature expense then yes ITC is not available.

(Refernece : Explanation under Section 17(5)(d)
