Information Technology ek esa subject hai jo hm sbse km pdte hain aur hmara result b isi subject ki vjah se khrab hota hai.....So this thread is purely dedicated to Information technology subject....

I will post here all the important definitions time to time which will help you to score at least 1 mark questions in exam...further i will also cover important aspects of this subjects ..nw starting from the important definitions.

these definitions will be coded in series as ITD 1, 2, 3....ITD means Information Technology Definition

So friends..please co-operate ...and if you have any suggestion in this regard then please be free to share.

Access Time : The time required to retrieve data from secondary storage and move them to primary memory.

Accumulator 

It is a register which holds the result of arithmetic or logical operations at various stages and transfers it back to main storage.

American Standard Code for Information Interchange : Standard Code to represent upper and lower case of alphabets, punctuation, numerals and various symbols used to design screens using seven bits.

Analog Transmission :

 

Analog signal is like spoken words; it is continuous and carried by changing wavelength (pitch) and amplitude (loudness). It can be transmitted directly or encoded into digital bits (i.e. 0 and 1); similarly digital information can be transmitted directly or modulated into analog form.
