I am in my 3rd year of articleship and my articleship will be completing on 30th November 2018. But due to excess leaves taken till date (i.e. 59 days extra as compared to allowed as per icai norms) my articleship period will be extended by 59 days. So effectively my articleship will be ending on 28th January 2019.
Query: can I serve the remaining period of articleship which is approx. 10 months(including extension period) as an industrial trainee in a company? if yes then anyone can confirm forms which i have to submit for the same.
And as information provided on the ICAI website
- Period of industrial trainee will be: The period of registration as Industrial Trainee should not be less than nine months and more than twelve months including the period of excess leave taken and the training can be during the last year of Practical Training.
