Required Research Interns for the South Asia Financial Management u n i t u n d e r Indstrial Training program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The assignment will be for a period of twelve months b e g i n n i n g i n o r a r o u n d Fe b r u a r y / Ma r c h 2 0 1 2 u n d e r t h e I n d u s t r i a l Training scheme of the ICAI.
Respons ibi l i t ies: As a membe r of teams, the incumbent would assist in p r o v i d i n g f i n a n c i a l m a n a g e m e n t monitoring, supervision and reporting for Bank financed projects in India’s portfolio. They would also be required to undertake research, analysis and evaluation of data on FM issues related t o t h e p o r t f o l i o p e r f o rma n c e a n d f i d u c i a r y s t r a t e g i e s , p r e s e n t conclusions and recommendations in written reports.
E l i g i b i l i t y: CA S t u d e n t w h o h a s passed both Groups of the IPCC / PEII Examination and should be in the final year of CA articleship on the joining date. Regulations of ICAI in respect of Industrial Training will a p p l y S t r o n g a n a l y t i c a l a n d quantitative skills with an interest on d e v e l o p m e n t a l i s s u e s a l o n g w i t h c omp u t e r p r o f i c i e n c y a n d / o r d a t a analysis are required, complemented b y e f f e c t i v e w r i t t e n , s p o k e n communication skills. Preference will be given to students having obtained merit in IPCC / PEII examination.
