Indirect tax and inflation
"Tax imposed on commodities and services cause an all-round price spiral. In other words, indirect taxation directly affects the prices of commodities and services and leads to inflationary trend."
Could someone please explain this with proper reasons.

Because the burden of indirect tax ultimately borne by customers...and its increase the price of goods by 4 to 20% thats why its contribute to inflation.
