Indian Institute of Technology in Hyderabad initiates activities

The newly created Indian Institute of Technology in Hyderabad is beginning with its Masters and Ph.D. programme from July, 2009. While the Masters of Technology (M.Tech) Degree is being offered in five subjects, the Ph.D. degree will be offered in nine subjects. Scholarships are available for eligible candidates. Only on-line applications will be accepted by the Institute. The last date for applying for the course is 20th May, 2009, with the details available on the website www.iith.ac.in.

The M.Tech course is being offered in the following subjects: Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The Ph.D. course is being offered in the following subjects: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
