India to emerge least affected from crisis: PM

The Indian economy will emerge as the least affected from the global economic crisis, Prime Minister said in a statement read out in parliament on Thursday. India's economy is estimated to grow 7.1 per cent in 2008/09, below 9.0 per cent in the previous year, as the global economic slowdown is expected to hurt key sectors such as real estate, automobiles and construction.  - www.financialexpress.com
