It is mandatory on the part of Independent Directors of the Company to meet atleast once in a "year", without the presence of Non-Indpendent Directors.
"Year" in this situation is a calendar year or financial year?

Hello, Miteshji can u please suggest where it is provided that its calendar year.
Looking to the role of Indepenent Director in meeting and notification of CA-2013 , W.E.FROM 01.04.2014 , the ID's will review perfomance of the Board as a whole.
In this year most of the ID's are appointed in agm wch held mostly say on septemebr -2014.
please suggest further can this meeting be taken before 31.03.2015
