Dear All,
As per section 149 and schedule IV of the Companies Act, 2013, existing independent director need to be appointed under Companies Act, 2013 for period of five years not liable to retire by rotation as per section 152 of the Act.
My query is that do we need to file DIR 12 for appointing them as independent director as per the Companies Act, 2013, since their names are already appearing on view signatory details on MCA Portal.
