Incorrect tax deducted by employer

I have certain claims which provide me tax relief which my employer rejects but are valid as per me and have proper proofs for the same, can i reflect this in my tax return by stating the tax paid is excess due to wrong taxable income as stated by employer ?

Also is there a way to dispute the tax deducted by employer ?
