an employee changed is employment in nov 2010 to saudi arabia from india
now i know as per incometax he is a resident in india because his stay is for more than 182 days & his income in saudi arabia is also taxable in india but i want to know whether he will be allowed expenses incurred in saudi arabia like house rent etc
Salaried persons can not claim expenses like rent, travelling expenses etc. against his salary income.

we take deduction of house reant as HRA
same way is it allowed for income earned outside india while living there
