ITR filed under section 44AD can deductions claim under section 80 GG on rent paid 8000 per month

Yes, the said deduction can be claimed.

Restriction is for Chapter VIA-C, deduction in respect of certain income.

Whereas 80GG falls under Chapter VIA-B, deduction respect of certain payments.
