Income tax department holding back refunds amounting to thousands of crores

The income tax department is likely to be holding back the refunds to exhibit a high tax collection figure. :)

they are delaying ITR since last 9 months and no progress till date

I called up ITD today and there same old robotic response is it's under process you will soon receive the intimation order.. God knows when will there processing will be completed..

Reason behind the delay is still unfathomable as long as communication comes from ITD.

In fact after submitting the response also they are repeating the same dialogue that "submit your response in the given time"
