I guess they will keep quite till 31 March so that people can’t revise the returns and then they will send the mail for the scrutiny

Yes probably but they could even still send the notice now why wait till March 31st
My guess is , as someone pointed out the rest of unprocessed ITRs may go thru newly developed software(Infosys) as a pilot testing., However all ITRs should be processed before March 31st.
They will drag it as far as they can
Why the entire group is not responding
What's the reason for dragging the processing uselessly ... I smell core politics in this... The NDA GOVT is behind all this
Earlier our site used to be processed highest by 6 months of period...But now they are taking whole lots of time and unnecessary harrasment for small taxpayers like us
This govt is creating unnecessary headaches for all
In fact e nivaran filed on 20th Feb is pending till now... Useless and corrupt Dept ..
