For how many years can we file the income tax return under updated return in today's date

Quick Summary
You can currently file an income tax return under the updated return scheme for the past two assessment years. This includes assessment years 2020-21 and 2021-22. The updated return facility allows you to correct or update returns filed previously.

You can file currently only for 2 years I.e a.y 20-21 & a.y 21-22
