Sir,
While e=filling return through ITR-I is it necessary to upload any document as proof against the claim of rebate under chapter VIA ? Please advise .

not required. you need to keep it with you so that subsequently if the AO takes up your return for scrutiny then you need to produce it before the AO at that time
