Hello,

Can any body convey me if the person has issued a PAN Card in Mumbai and now he shifted to other city say Hyderabad but he has his own house at Bangalore which he bought by way of Housing loan. He is paying House Rent at Hyderabad city on account of his service. My queries are;

1. Can we e-file his Income Tax Return stating present address of Hyderabad where as per last income tax return his present address states Mumbai Rental address . Can i still continue mumbai address or Which address i should state in his income tax return.

2. He can still get Housing Loan for Bangalore House as well as HRA of Hyderabad City in his Income Tax return.

Pls advise me.

You should state your current address for return purposes and ya you can get the benefit of both as owned house is not at the place of business and hence dedcution u/s 24 is admissible and also can get the benefit of dedcution under the head salary while computing taxable HRA.
