Dear CCItes,

In how many days Reund is credited into account after intimation under sec 143(1). I have received intimation under section 143 already, can you please inform me how many days it will take to refund credited into account?

1) First got to efiling - click on Ack.No and see the track of ITR. If it says Refund determined and send to refund banker then

2) Visit https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refundstatuslogin.H T M L Give PAN no and assesment year and see the status. If refund is large chq will be issued by Speed post. Speed post tracking no willl be given on this website. You can go to speed post TRACKER AND GIVE the speed post tracking no.

3) If amt is small it will be directly credited to you bank acc given in ITR

4) In my case it is - ITR-4 filed on 27 aug 2015--> assessment done on 1st oct --> refund determined on 27 th oct--> 31 st oct refund send to refund banker --> 4th Nov Document reached Mumbai speed post PO --> 5 th Nov Refund chq landed in Pune PO --> 6th Nov delivered at 4.30 Pm.

while checking through incometaxindia site for refund status, not determined is shown there. Does it mean delay in refunding the amount?

1) go through the assesment order 143(1) - see whether refund is there.

2) goto tin website and see status of refund

i have filed my retrn 4s in Aug-15, a sper my return there is refund 20000/- but still i have not recived my refund and also as per income tax site there is no status shows

There is a heavy rush for ITR2, 2A and ITR-4 4S. Mywifes refund i got last week though she fle 1 month before me. Since everybody having refund has to file online the no of cases have gone up considerable this year.
