I have e filled Income Tax Return for the A.Y. 2012-13. I am governmrnt servant. and TDS Rs. 6700/- has been deducted from my salary payment. by mistakly I filled the coloum of Advance Tax instead of TDS coloum. The department raised a demand of Rs. 1077 instead of refund of Rs. 5623/- Now what remidy I have. Whether I have to filled revise return or make online rectification request. Is the limitiation for time limit for revised return has been over. Original return was filled on 05/06/2012.

No need to worry please rectify online the intimation u/s 154 by going into your account on the income tax efiling site. Definately u will find it in order wothin 3 yo 5 months as it will be rectified as mistake on record. Revise return can not be filed.
