In one case the income tax return has been filed for the asssessment year 08-09, but interest for the educational loan not claimed in return.Whether i can revise return and claim refund for the same period.

Sir, If you are having auditor contact him otherwise write to the concerned ITO and get it clarrified

Sir, Recently I read that if the return is not filed within the due date i-e 31st July revise return cannot be filed.Any how my view is subject to correction
