Income Tax query dividend
XYZ company p ltd has issued 1000 shares at Rs 10 each to one of its preference shareholder Mr A. Subsequently the company buy back these shares at the rate of Rs 990 each. How this transaction will be treated? Whether it can be treated as dividend or something else
