As an Indian resident, your UK income is taxable in India. You must report it in your ITR (typically ITR-3 for freelance/business income) and use Form 67 to claim Foreign Tax Credit (FTC) for any taxes already paid in the UK under the DTAA agreement. Your Indian employer is not responsible for your foreign income taxes; that is your individual compliance responsibility.
