Quick Summary
This discussion addresses confusion surrounding messages about income tax challan expiry. It clarifies that a CRN (Customer Reference Number) has a validity period, and tax remittances must be made before it expires to avoid issues. While an expired challan might not affect an already verified tax return, it's important to ensure payments are processed correctly. If unsure about payment status or how to locate records, contacting the Income Tax Department's helpline is recommended.

You may have generated multiple challans in the process of payments. hence the message

This is not good.......

The message is informing you that your CRN (Customer Reference Number), which is likely related to taxation, is valid from 16/08/2022 until 31/08/2022. To avoid the expiration of your CRN, you need to make a tax payment or remittance before the specified end date. Making the payment within this timeframe will ensure that your CRN remains active and valid.

If return is already verified it may not have an impact on it.

I don't have crn no so how search last payment done or not.
