Income tax for partner in llp

326 views 1 replies

Hi, I have a query about IT calculation for a Partner in LLP or Partnership firm. I know that a Partner has limitations in getting salary from the firm in which he is associated as Partner. However if the Partner works for some other company (say private limited) as an individual for extra income, how is the income taxed? Will the income be taxed as personal or as income of his partnership firm. Please advice. Thanks, John

The income from co. and firm will be taxed on individual basis.
