Efiling 1721 views 6 replies

Hi All,

Last year I withdraw my PF amount (premature i.e. PF duration was just 2 years), after changing my job. EPF amount was transfer to my account and TDS of 10,000 Rs was deducted, which is also reflected in 26as form.

Question 1 : Is it require to show this TDS deduction while  filing tax for current fiscal year.

Question 2 : IF Yes, Then In which section of excel sheet I need to include these details and what are other important details i need to include whiling filing tax.

Waiting for your earliest reply. Thanks in advance to everyone for your support.

Thanks,

Ruchin.

If TDS is deducted you must show it to avail the benefit of Tax already deducted.

You have recieved TDS certificate for such deduction.

any premature withdrawal before completion of five years pf becomes taxable. here you are saying that pf has been transferred to your new employer, then where is the question of withdrawal. pl be clear
