Income tax department intimation section 143 demand draft

Hi Team ,

Need your help ..i got a notice from income tax department under section 143 for the assessment year 2007-08 ,

and i have income less than lakh(salary) in that year as i got the job in Jan 2007 .. the person whofilled my tax filled wrongly he has showed my income for the assessment year 2008-09 as 2007-08 so i got the demand notice,

Later he told that he will correct it ..i think he dint done that ..i saw today in the income taxonline site and i m having of demand draft 29,000.

Please help me how to correct this .

contact your AO with all facts and supporting documents. after proper satisfaction by AO, your demand will be reduced accordingly.

Thanks Aditya ..AO means ? and what are the documents i need to submit .Can you please guide me . if i contact CA or income tax agent did he able to solve my issue ?.Appreciate your help..!!

AO means assessing officer. documents supporting your claim that income of 08-09 was included in 07-08 will be reqd to be produced..... i will suggest that you should consult a CA who can help you in this regard.
