I have deposited by transfer of funds from my account to my son's account Rs 15 lacs on various dates during 2016-17. It came under compliance section of Income Tax under Investment by TDR other than renewal. Can I reply as the amount is a gift from father to son . My son's I T return filed showing interest income has been processed but compliance issue is pending. Please advise how to deal with issue. Regards
