Income from Coffee estate

Is Income derived from coffee estate treated as agricultural or non-agricultural income ?

Coffee is grown and not cured.

(with reference to Rule 7A)

No, it is entirely agricultural income

Rule 7B covers coffee grown and cured, and coffee grown and cured grounded and roasted... Subsequent operations to growing should be considered.

Decision in Belgachi Tea co ltd (2008) says that where green tea is sold without curing, same is agricultural income.

Same logic applies to me here, it is entirely agricultural income tax free.
