HELLO ALL,
One of my clients income total salary income is above 51 lacs (only one source of income) for fy 19-20.
total deduction under 80c is 170000/-.
now, the return shd be filed in ITR1 OR ITR2. pls clarify.

Try entering the income details from Form 16 as-is and see if ITR-1 is stopping you in filing. We need to know if there are checks built inside the ITR1 if any that will stop tax return filer and when does it stop at what condition.
