Inappropriate centre

Hey Karan - Sorry dude, but as far as I know, its not allowed in CA.

EXAMINATION CENTRE : You have to select examination centre from amongst the centres as indicated in the attached list from where you wish to appear in the ensuing examination. The  examination centre varies from examination to examination. Please be careful and be doubly sure before you write the  centre as no request for change of centre will be entertained subsequently under any circumstances.

well! Chandan sir! i have already mentioned that i had opted for appropriate centre as mentioned in the list provided bby ICAI but the exam department i suppose must not have looked properly! even my admit card shows Mumbai-VII but the place of examination is Vasai, how is thsi possible!!!! If there is no other way then i will have to go to Vasai, come what may!! :(

Oh sorry, I missed that detail...Write a mail to the Secretary, Exams quoting your problem. Have u taken a printout of ur examination form to back ur claim. I have a gut feeling though,  ICAI is very rigid in such matters. still I suggest u shld write to him n hope for the best.

Many from bhayandar are facing that problem. Nothing can be done regarding the same. Have you read the notification  of icai regarding zone shifting of candidates? I guess too  many people from Mira/ Bhayandar are giving attempt this time.....so they had  to shift some to vasai due to paucity of space.....despite bhayandar having two colleges as centers
