Hi Friends,

For the ones who are going to write the exams.

Dont forget to include the things while writing the exams in Accounts.

1.) Dont forget to write the Dr, and Cr, at the both side top corners of the account.

2.) Give the Particulars, Amount (Rs.) and if it journal Debit(Rs.) and Credit(Rs.)

3.) Give the appropriate working notes.

4.) Dont wirte the amounts in Lakhs or '000 or bla bla.

5.) First Give the appropriate answer and give the working notes below the answer but dont start with the working notes.

For example : Asked P&L& Balance sheet, Then start the answer with P&L account and then Balance sheet and there after give the working notes accordingly.

6.) Dont put the Dr and Cr for balance sheet , since it is a Balance sheet but not the account.

Valuers are looking after above all and allotting the marks accordingly. So please take over at things while writing the exams.

Please include if i forget anything here.

Thank you.:)

Wish you all the success.

WHAT ABOUT LAST 30 MINUTE WHICH REMAINS. . . .practicaly not possible
Dont write AS, SA ,SECTION, CLAUSE no. If u only 90 percent sure.. . . Write only when 100 percent sure spl. Pcc and ipcc. And dont waste much time on a single question.

It's always good to write amount in '000 or in Lakhs..

It's smarter way and ICAI does recognise it.. and i dont agree with views of the first commenter in this regard...

Can we do rough works in answer sheet ?

Thank you Radhekrishna and suresh for your addings.

@ krish - Dont prefer to use answer sheet to rough notes. Try to reduce the rough workings. If you are about to do rough workings, do with pencil and erase it off (its my personal advice) I am not sure whether rough workings can do.

Thank you all.

Wish you all the best.

Regards,

A.Jayasri

@ Sagar - I dont think so.

If we write amount in '000 or in lakhs , Why valuers should bother about conversion again into Rs.

Ofcourse it will show clearly the amount in '000 but dont prefer to write like such. Even for the some of the solutions we confuse ourselves. I am sure about that.

I am afraid if my words are harsh at you.

Thank you.

Obviously this may be right way to do rough works. THANKS FOR UR ADVICE.
