Important chapters for isca may 2015 exams

Not to be critical but in your analysis u have stated names of 3 chapters and range of marks stated by you on cumulative is 26 minimum to 34 maximum. There are totally 8 chapters in this 100 marks paper. If u simply divide 100 by 8 it is 12.5 marks per topic which is more than what you have stated in the so called important chapters. Dont think this information is of much value

Thank you sir. Though I would say each and every chapters are important considering the fact that there are only 8chapters.. ICAI will ask ques from every chapter if they are in right state of Mind. Or else they will make entire paper from one chapter. :P ;)

Yes anurag i told u i was not being critical. Just that with 8 chapters total in syllabus its very difficult to mark important chapters unlike audit which has vast number of chapters but few important ones. Please dont think i am discouraging u. Cheers

1- Concepts of Governance- Approx 08 Marks

2- Emerging Technologies - Approx 08-10 Marks

3- Acqusition,Develpoment- Approx 12-16 Marks

4- Auditing of IS - Approx 12-20 Marks

5 BCP and DRP - Approx 08-10 Marks

6-IS Concepts - Approx 08-12 Marks

Note :Above 6 chapters are very important and atleast twice revision is required .If possible go through the Study material else PM is must U can leave chapter 7 and chapter 3 as it will not cover more than 04-08 marks
