Guyz... its ICAI... if u refer last 4 examinations papers.., u'll find almost all d chapters in every subj. r covered...

So, can't expect any particular chapter or topic important,, but es certain most important chapters are alwz there....

And u can't even rely on those sources who claim that they know abt ICAI criteria and all...

So, try to cover all the topics in every subject and FOCUS thoroughly on most imp. topics

 if its costin cover basic mat lab oh standard marginal budgetary first others too r imp but tis shud b done 1st

in costing PROCESS is VERY VERY IMPORTANT..... i think its d one Q dat institute has alwz been asking...

and rest are budgetary, standard/marginal, even contract is one of the imp. topics

U cant bet on which chapter i.c.a.i is goin 2 test

prepare for the storm first only concentrate more on process overheads

its stupid to ask such questions being a CA student. whole syllabus is most important. for example in june 2009: in accounts there was not even single sum from these most important chapters: partnership, amalgamation, branch, hire purchase, departmental & internal reconstruction. so nothing is important and nothing is unimportant.
